Take A Step Back

Take a step back.
Enjoy life.

Try to remember a time when all this technology didn’t run things.

That’s what I hear some people say.

Which is a bunch a bull if you ask me.

How can I take a step back from a system that I have putĀ all my money in?

Try to go a few days without a cell phone or computer or television.

See where that will get you.

The most you’ll do is a day of two of “appreciating” the stuff you have only to go back to your routine.

I am sadden to say the days of taking a step back and being objective are over.

No one can be objective to the only lifestyle they know.

  1. I agree with you, how can we step back when we have already stepped into the future. Today, technology is inextricably linked to us that stepping back would jeopardize our progress in work, school and even as an individual. So, I’d tell those people to sit back and imagine what this world would be sans tech.

  2. People who say things like that have no idea what they are talking about, or have forgot how terrible the good old days were………………my mum always says she wish they had mobile phones around when dad was working would have saved her sitting in the car park waiting for his train to arrive only to have it late and her no idea where he was…………
