I have to connect a global issue to a local issue for this prompt.
Okay.
That seems a little sophisticated if you ask me.
Connecting the dots for two major issues showing the readers the parellel connection between a vast stage and a small one.
Playing in the big leagues now.
Got to roll the sleeves up here/
Writing about a local PTA meeting would be enough writing for me.
But connecting it to a larger issue.
Okay I got this.
At the local PTA meeting people are stubborn and set in their ways in what type of candy they want at the Valentine’s Day Party.
From what I heard last year they hadĀ chocolate peanutsĀ and it went really bad.
See the people at the local PTA meeting are like people all over the world.
They are so blinded by what they think is right that they forget the other people are involved.
So they base their judgement on their own view.
It’s accidentally being selfish.
Not sure if that is better than purposely being selfish but I am not going there right now.
Both are similar in that people in charge will freak out over something silly (like candy) but are blind to see it’s the people involved that make the party.
Not the goddamn candy.
So really the world is just a PTA meeting deciding what candy to have for next year’s party.
Wow.
What an awful metaphor that is to imagine.
I thought this was going to be a post about globes, so I was a little disappointed. I still liked it, though, because your spelling was excellent…as was your punctuation.
thank you. how did the interview with the cat go?
We’re still waiting to find a time that works for us. Everything I’ve suggested thus far falls under “Nap Time” on his calendar…
he’s a busy cat
A sleepy cat is more like it!
sleeping takes a lot of work
Does it? It’s been a while since I’ve slept really work. Guess I’m not working at it heard enough… (that’s what he said)
What can I say other than I have nothing to say but globes are cool even though this post had nothing about globes………….lol
